I have a SketchUp Pro 2017 license on my Windows 10 Home and a SketchUp Pro 2016 license on my Windows 8.1. With luck, you have a new Apple ID for downloading the software, and with even more luck, you will have the new password. Change the password on all your Macs, get a new Apple ID and download the latest software, and then run the backup process. If you are not a Mac user and didn't do the backup on a Mac, I'd recommend going to the Apple website and downloading the latest version of the software. For me, I need to keep all my data available and usable at any time, regardless of the media on which it is stored. I realize the service I use is not as good as some, and I use it for backup only. I think Apple will respond to me, but I haven't yet heard anything. I guess I will just get the $199 cracker and try that. And I don't want to put that burden on my phone. I would have to do this for EVERY backup, and I don't even know what the password would be. The only thing I can think of is to make a backup and delete that (I had trouble restoring from backups before), and restore from the cloud. But by that time, the data is probably already lost.
I will have to use my phone to log in to iTunes and unlock the folder, then copy the files to my new phone and then move them to the cloud, or something like that.
